3-lihi-haruvi-high-res-2Born and raised in Israel, Lihi Haruvi is making her mark in the scene as a saxophonist and composer. She has performed on the top stages and festivals around the world including the Newport Jazz Festival, the Cork Guinness Jazz Festival, the Panama Jazz Festival, the Beantown Jazz Festival, Birdland NY, Givatayim Theatre, Jordan Hall, the Berklee Performance Center, and many more. She has performed with and studied with some of the world’s greatest musicians, including Danilo Perez, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Ken Schaphorst, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington and Marco Pignataro. She also performed with “Rock and roll Hall of Fame”, Bruce Springsteen drummer Max Weinberg, the Israeli artists David Broza and Arkadi Duchin.

Lihi recently graduated from the New England Conservatory with a Master of Music degree. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship and was selected for the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute program.
